as a retired teacher here in glasgow, I bought this to keep an eye on my front door, especially since my son visits often and I want to know when he's around. the courier called ahead for delivery, which was nice. setting it up was mostly easy—no drilling needed, just stuck it on, but the manual was rubbish and I had to fiddle a bit to get it connected. once it was working, the video quality is extremely good; I can see everything clearly, almost like watching telly. I get alerts on my phone instantly when there's motion, which is great for security, though it sometimes picks up the neighbour's cat and gives false alarms. I like that I can check in from my armchair with a book in hand, but it does depend on my wifi, which can be spotty. overall, it's a practical addition to my home, and I'd recommend it to others who want a simple way to monitor their doorstep without much hassle. :)
- Pros: the video is extremely clear, making it easy to see details like faces or packages from a distance, and I appreciate that it connects to the internet without any wires, which was simple to set up by just sticking it on the door. getting alerts on my phone right away when something moves is very handy, and I can check on my home from anywhere, which gives me peace of mind.
