i was looking for something to handle deliveries and keep an eye on things without fuss as a software developer i'm skeptical about gadgets but this one seemed like a proper workhorse at first the problem was our old doorbell was useless at night and we missed packages the solution this doorbell from vestidos with its clear night vision and good video has helped a lot i can check who's there from my phone which is handy with a kid around the takeaway it does the job well for the price but it has its quirks like occasional glitches that make me wonder about long term use i'd recommend it with some reservations
- Pros: the night vision is quite good making it easy to see who's at the door even in the dark and the video quality is sharp so i can catch details like faces clearly it was simple to set up myself without needing help and having different sounds to choose from adds a bit of fun to the usual doorbell
- Cons: from what i feel it might not be as reliable as i hoped sometimes the connection drops which is annoying for a security device and the range for alerts could be better making it less useful when i'm not right near the door also the battery life seems shorter than expected needing more frequent charges
