As a chef, I'm used to things working smoothly, but this lock has its ups and downs. I bought it as a gift for myself to upgrade my home security, and while it does the job most of the time, it's not perfect. I've had a few moments where it didn't recognize my print, and I had to use the password—kind of a hassle. For tips, I'd say make sure your fingers are clean before using it, and maybe keep the card handy as a backup. It's decent, but I expected better for the price. Overall, it's okay, but not amazing. :)
- Pros: I really liked how quick it is to unlock with my fingerprint—it's almost instant, which is great when my hands are full. The password option is handy for guests, and the card access is a nice backup. It feels very secure, like having a strong guard at the door, and the packaging was intact when it arrived.
- Cons: From what I feel, it's not without flaws. The fingerprint reader can be finicky sometimes, especially if my fingers are a bit wet or dirty from cooking. Setting it up was a bit confusing, and I wish it had clearer instructions. It's not as reliable as I hoped, which is disappointing for something meant to keep my home safe.
