First impression, I bought this GoolRC lock hoping to make life simpler, and it does help with not fumbling for keys, especially after cycling. But it's not perfect; the recognition can be slow, and I had to fiddle with the settings. For the price, it's decent, but I expected better reliability. I'd say it's an okay deal if you're on a budget, but maybe not the best out there.
- Pros: I liked that I can open the door with my fingerprint, which is fairly easy and makes me feel secure without keys. The battery lasts a good while on a charge, so I don't have to worry about it dying often. It's nice that it works with codes or a card too, giving options for my family.
- Cons: The setup was a bit tricky most likely because the manual was okay but not super clear. Sometimes the fingerprint doesn't read right away, which can be annoying. It feels a bit flimsy, and I'm cautious about how long it will hold up.
