i bought this after doing some research thinking it would make my home smarter and it does in some ways i enjoy being able to control the lights from anywhere and the schedules help with my routine but honestly it wasnt as straightforward as i hoped installation took me a while and i had to watch a few videos to get it right which was a hassle for a beginner like me compared to other brands ive heard about it feels a bit finicky at times but once set up it works well enough for my needs i use it mostly in the living room and it handles the light levels fine though i wish it were simpler overall not bad but not amazing either
- Pros: i quite liked how easy it was to adjust the lights from my phone it saved my bacon when i was away and forgot to turn them off the app made it simple to set schedules and it worked with my other smart home gadgets which was a nice surprise
- Cons: as it seemed to me the setup was a bit tricky for someone like me not very techy and i had to get help to pair it with a companion switch which was frustrating also the dimming options felt overwhelming at first with too many choices
