i bought this goolrc lock a couple months back hoping to make life easier with my kid around and me working odd hours in healthcare, at first it was great the fingerprint reader is quick and i love not carrying keys but sometimes the bluetooth doesnt connect right away which is frustrating when im tired, it feels sturdy but i had to fiddle with the installation myself and it took a while, for the money i paid i expected a bit more reliability, overall it does the job but i wouldnt say its perfect, in the same price range there might be options with fewer hiccups :)
- Pros: the fingerprint part works quite fast, it opens the door almost instantly which is powerful for getting in quick after a long shift, and the bluetooth thing is handy when my phone is nearby, no more digging for keys in the dark, it feels secure and looks nice on my door
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the bluetooth can be a bit glitchy if my phone isnt close, and i worry about relying on tech for something so important, also the setup wasnt super easy and it might not be the best deal in its price range compared to simpler locks
