so i got this lamp a couple months back, mostly because i wanted something that could do colors and work with my other smart stuff. why did i buy it? i was tired of my basic lamp and wanted an upgrade. how does it perform? it lights up the room okay, but the smart part is hit or miss—sometimes it listens, other times it just ignores me. what's the best thing? probably the voice control when it works, saves me from getting up. worst thing? the inconsistency, and it feels a bit overpriced for what it does. would i recommend it? maybe if you're into gadgets and don't mind tinkering, but it's not a must-have. overall, it's fine, not great, not terrible.
- Pros: the lamp looks good in my room and the colors are fun to play with for setting a mood. i like that i can tell it what to do with my voice through my smart speaker, which is handy when my hands are full or i'm just feeling lazy. it's bright enough for most things and dims nicely too.
- Cons: the smart features are a bit glitchy sometimes and don't always connect right away. the build feels a bit cheap for the price, and the light can be uneven in some spots. compared to my old lamp, it's not as reliable, and the app setup was annoying.
