As a chef who's always on my feet I wanted something to make home comfort easier and this Honeywell device seemed pretty good for that. I installed it a couple months back and it's been helpful for keeping my place cool without me constantly fiddling with it. The app works well from my phone and I like that it gives tips on saving energy. But yeah that wire thing was a surprise and it took a bit to get used to the learning part. Overall it does what it says but it's not perfect. I'd recommend it if you're okay with the setup part.
- Pros: I loved how I could change the display color to match my kitchen decor and control it from my phone or by voice without getting up which is SO convenient for my busy schedule as a chef. It learned my temperature preferences over time and helped save on energy bills which felt smart and efficient.
- Cons: It required a special wire that I didn't have installed so I had to hire someone to set it up which added extra cost and hassle. Sometimes the temperature adjustments felt a bit slow to respond especially during hot Arizona days.
