I got this as a gift for my wife to jazz up our living room, since we have multiple kids and need some mood lighting for family time. I was hoping it'd be a smart upgrade vs similar options I've seen, but reality hit a bit. It does what it says—changes colors and dims with the app—but the connection issues are annoying. For music and concerts at home, the color changes are fun, but it's not as seamless as I'd like. Overall, it's okay, but I expected more reliability. I might keep it for now, but I'm cautious about recommending it fully.
- Pros: The light gets quite warm but not hot, which is nice for a cozy feel. I like that I can change colors easily with my phone, and it dims smoothly for movie nights. The packaging was intact when it arrived, so no issues there. It saves energy compared to my old lights, which is a plus for the wallet.
- Cons: From what I feel, the Bluetooth range is shorter than I expected, so I have to be close to control it. It doesn't work with other smart home stuff I have, which is a bummer. Sometimes the app acts up and disconnects, making it frustrating to use. The light can be a bit too bright even on low settings, not ideal for late nights.
