i got this Binchi light hoping it would make my night rides safer, but honestly, it's just average. it arrived on time, and setting it up was plug-and-play easy, which i appreciate. but the light output is mediocre; in dim conditions, it doesn't illuminate enough to make me feel secure. the remote is convenient, but the overall performance doesn't justify the price for me. as someone who cycles a lot, i value reliability, and this feels like it might not hold up. i'm married and we have a decent income, so i tend to buy things that last, but this one seems like it could fail sooner rather than later. not the worst, but i expected better for the money.
- Pros: the wireless remote is super handy for switching it on without taking my hands off the handlebars, which is great for staying focused while riding. i also like that it's rechargeable with a usb cable, so i don't have to keep buying batteries, and the battery lasts a good while on a single charge. the light can be adjusted to point in different directions, which is nice for getting the angle just right.
- Cons: from what i feel, the light isn't as bright as i expected—it's okay but not extremely visible in really dark areas, which is disappointing for safety. the flashing mode is a bit weak and doesn't stand out much, making me worry it won't catch drivers' attention. the build feels a bit cheap and not very durable, so i'm not sure how long it'll last with regular use.
