As an engineer I did a lot of research before buying this and was hopeful it would solve my problem of waking up groggy. The solution was easy to set up no tools needed and it integrates well with voice assistants. After adjusting settings it does help with letting light in gradually. BUT I'm disappointed that the remote isn't included and the light sensing seems inconsistent. Takeaway it's good but not perfect for the price. I wish it was more reliable.
- Pros: The motor is very strong and moves the curtains smoothly without any noise which is nice after adjusting settings. I like that it can be controlled from my phone or set on a schedule making mornings easier.
- Cons: The remote is sold separately which is annoying and it seems a bit tricky to install on certain tracks. The automatic light sensor doesn't always work perfectly in my room.
