As an engineer, I was cautious about this device, expecting it to seamlessly upgrade my air conditioner. In reality, it did add smart features like remote control and scheduling, which were nice for saving energy, but the connection issues and occasional glitches made it feel unreliable. It seemed to me that for the price, it's a decent budget option, but not without its flaws. I can evaluate that it's functional but not perfect—good for basic use, but don't expect too much :)
- Pros: I liked that it was very easy to set up with just a plug, and it worked with my old air conditioner without any fuss. Being able to control the temperature from my phone and set schedules saved me from getting up, which was convenient.
- Cons: It didn't always connect reliably to my home network, and the touchscreen felt a bit unresponsive at times. Also, while it claimed to work with many brands, it seemed to struggle with some commands, making it less dependable than I hoped.
