so, as a retired guy in la with a family, i picked this up thinking it might help tone my abs without all the crunches, since cycling and scootering only do so much. first off, the portability is great—i've used it while binge-watching shows, and it's easy to take along. the adjustable levels are nice; i started low and cranked it up over time, but honestly, it feels more like a tingling sensation than a proper muscle burn. after a few weeks of use, i haven't seen much change in my stomach, which is disappointing. it could be that i'm not using it right or something, but for the cost, i expected more. on the bright side, the kids think it's fun to play with, so it's not a total waste. overall, it's okay for a light stimulator, but if you're looking for serious results, you might need to stick with real exercises. :)
- Pros: it's extremely portable, so i can use it while watching tv or even out on my scooter rides, which is a big plus for fitting into my day. the adjustable intensity lets me start low and work up, and having multiple controllers and straps means i can share it with the kids or switch things up to avoid getting bored.
- Cons: after digging in settings, i found it doesn't always stay in place during movement, which can be annoying, and the stimulation feels a bit weak even on higher levels—could be wrong, but it's not as intense as i hoped for a real workout. also, the build quality seems a bit cheap for the price, which matters when you're on a budget.
