From what I feel, this thing does the job in my small apartment here in LA, where it gets humid sometimes. I bought it on a whim, and it's been running for a couple of weeks now. The air feels better, less sticky, and I like that I can set it to different speeds. But yeah, not without flaws—the EU plug was a surprise, and it doesn't feel as sturdy as I'd hoped. Still, for the price, it's decent :)
- Pros: It pulls moisture out of the air very well for its size, and the touch screen makes it easy to adjust things without fuss. The automatic defrost keeps it from freezing up, which is a nice touch.
- Cons: The plug is for European outlets, so I had to use an adapter, which is a bit annoying. It feels a bit flimsy, and the many settings can be confusing at first.
