Extremely well in terms of silence—it's almost silent, which is a game-changer. But adjusting the flow took some trial and error; it wasn't intuitive at first. Would I recommend it? Yes, for the peace and quiet, though it's not perfect. It does what it promises, and my fish seem happier with the cleaner water. Overall, a solid choice if you're impulsive like me and want an upgrade.
