as a retired teacher on a tight budget, i bought this because my old alarm was too jarring and woke up the whole house. i've been using it for over six months now, and it's been mostly reliable. it blends in well with my bedroom decor, and i appreciate that it's small enough to move around if needed. my son got it for me, and it's been a nice change, though i do worry it might not work if i sleep too deeply. overall, it's a helpful little device, but it could be improved with a stronger wake-up method. i'd recommend it to others who want a quiet alarm, but keep in mind it might not be perfect for heavy sleepers.
- Pros: i like how it wakes me up gently with a shake instead of a loud noise, so my husband can sleep in. the screen is very clear and easy to read, even without my glasses on. it's pretty good for the price and looks nice on my nightstand.
