My first impression of this lock was mixed I bought it as a gift for my daughter who lives in an apartment and values security but isnt super techy I liked that it feels sturdy and the fingerprint reader works well most of the time letting her in quickly without fumbling for keys The voice control is a nice touch for when her hands are full and the auto lock feature gives peace of mind knowing the door is secure after she leaves However I found the installation took some effort and the app had moments where it didnt connect right away which made me a bit skeptical about relying on it completely The customer service was helpful when I called but it should just work out of the box Overall its a decent upgrade from traditional locks but not perfect I might recommend it with some patience needed for the tech side
- Pros: I was super impressed with how easy it was to get in without keys using my fingerprint it feels fast and secure and I love that I can check and control it from my phone when Im not home which is a lifesaver for my forgetful moments
- Cons: From what I feel the setup was a bit tricky at first and I had one small gripe about the app sometimes being slow to respond which can be frustrating when youre in a hurry
