Decision:

i bought this scooter for my six-year-old after seeing it recommended for younger kids, and overall, it's been a good choice. right out of the box, it looked solid and was simple to put together—no tools needed, which was a relief. my child was excited to try it, and after a bit of practice, they got the hang of the steering that helps with balance. it's held up well on our neighborhood rides, smoothing over cracks and small obstacles without trouble. the adjustable handlebar is a lifesaver since kids shoot up so fast, and i appreciate not having to buy a new one every year. folding it down is quick with the button release, making it hassle-free for trips to the park. however, i did notice that the lights dim after a while, and i wish they were brighter or lasted longer. also, while it's built tough, i'm keeping an eye on wear and tear. for the price, it's a solid pick that encourages outdoor play and feels safe, though it's not perfect. i'd recommend it with those minor caveats.

• Pros: the scooter feels super sturdy and handles bumps really well, making it great for my kid to ride on sidewalks without issues. i like that the handlebar adjusts easily as my child grows, and the wheels light up, which adds a fun safety feature for evening rides. it's also easy to fold up and store in the car, perfect for our outings.
• Cons: from what i feel, the steering can be a bit stiff at first, and it took my kid a few tries to get used to it. the plastic parts, while strong, might not hold up if it gets banged around too much over time. also, the lights on the wheels are cool but don't last very long before needing a replacement.
