Neato Botvac D7 Connected Robot Vacuum: Smartphone control
Meet the Robot Vacuum—your new best friend for keeping floors spotless without lifting a finger. It’s not just about sucking up dirt; this little genius comes with a fine filter that traps dust like a pro (goodbye, sneeze attacks). Control it from your couch or halfway across the world with your smartphone—because who doesn’t love playing with gadgets? And with a whopping 120 minutes of battery life, it’ll keep going longer than your last Netflix binge. Set it and forget it with weekly scheduling, so your floors stay clean without you having to remember a thing. as a chef and barista im always on my feet and having a clean floor is too important for my work and my kids but this vacuum is a mixed bag it does a good job overall and the convenience is amazing like being able to schedule cleanings and control it remotely but it has its quirks ive used it for a couple months now and while it handles most areas fine it struggles with clutter and doesnt always get into tight spaces ive had to adjust my routine to pick up things before it runs which defeats the purpose a bit for me its helpful but not perfect and as a brand loyalist i might stick with neato for future upgrades hoping they improve the navigation it seemed to me that it could be better for the cost but it has saved me time and effort overall
- Pros: the filter really catches dust well so my allergies are better and i can breathe easier in the kitchen it runs for a long time on a charge which is great for cleaning my whole apartment without stopping and i love that i can control it from my phone even when im not home it saves me a few times when i forget to start it and the scheduling feature means i dont have to think about cleaning at all
- Cons: it sometimes gets stuck on things like chair legs or toys left on the floor which is annoying and i have to go rescue it the sensors arent perfect and it misses some spots especially in corners which means i still need to do touchups myself and for the price i expected it to be a bit smarter at avoiding obstacles
