as someone who's been using vacuums for years, this one from ecovacs is decent but not amazing. it handles obstacles well and the self-emptying is handy, but the cleaning power is just average. compared to my old model, it's an upgrade in smarts but not in performance. i expected more for the price, and while it's fine for daily use, it doesn't wow me. i'd recommend it if you value convenience over deep cleaning.
- Pros: i can say for sure it seems fairly smart at avoiding things like furniture and stairs, which is a big plus compared to what i used before. the way it empties itself is convenient, and i like that i can just tell it what to do with my voice.
- Cons: it doesn't seem to clean as thoroughly as i'd hoped, especially on carpets, and sometimes it misses spots. the mopping feature is okay but not great, and it feels a bit noisy when running.
