As an engineer in Phoenix with kids, I needed something to handle daily messes without constant intervention. The prpblem was my old vacuum couldn't keep up with the dirt from concerts and playdates. This Dreame bot solved it by mapping quickly and dodging furniture, but the solution isn't perfect—it doesn't clean deeply everywhere. Takeaway: It's a decent helper for basic tasks, but don't expect miracles on high-pile rugs.
- Pros: The mapping is extremely fast, taking only a few minutes to figure out my entire house, which is a nice bonus. It avoids obstacles well, and I like that I can adjust the water usage to prevent my foors from getting too wet—great for different mess levels.
- Cons: From what I feel, it struggles with thicker carpets and sometimes misses spots in corners. The battery lide could be better for larger homes, and it's a bit noisy, which is annoying during music listening.
