As a dad with a kid and a dog, I was really hoping this would be the answer to keeping the house clean without much effort. Delivery was quick, which was a plus. But after using it for a couple of months, I'm on the fence. It does a decent job overall, but it's not the miracle worker I thought it'd be. I find myself still needing to do touch-ups, especially in areas with a lot of pet hair. The self-cleaning base is great, but the whole system feels a bit finicky at times. Would I recommend it? Only if you're okay with spending a lot for something that's good but not amazing. It's helpful, but not a must-have.
- Pros: This thing is super convenient, honestly. It seems to handle the floors quite well, especially with that feature where it reaches into corners—no more missed spots. The base station is a lifesaver; it empties itself and even washes the mop, which is a huge time-saver for me. I like that it avoids obstacles pretty smartly, almost like it has a mind of its own, and it keeps my rugs dry by lifting the mop on carpets. Controlling it with my voice through my smart home gadgets is a nice touch, makes me feel like I'm living in the future :)
- Cons: For the price, I expected more. It doesn't always pick up everything, especially with pet hair, and sometimes it gets stuck or confused in tight spaces. The suction power seems strong but not perfect, and I've had to rescue it a few times. It's a bit noisy when running, which can be annoying, and the setup wasn't as straightforward as I hoped. Also, the water tank needs refilling more often than I'd like, which adds to the maintenance.
