as a deal hunter with a technical background, i expected more from this given the price. i thought it would be a game-changer for parties, but in reality, it's just okay. the lighting effects are fun and customizable, which my partner and i enjoy during movie nights, and our pets seem intrigued by the colors. however, the speaker part is fairly basic—it gets the job done but doesn't wow me. most likely, it's a good buy if you're looking for a two-in-one solution, but don't expect top-notch audio. it works as advertised, but i'm left wanting more for what i paid. 😕
