so, why did i buy this? well, i wanted something to liven up my living room without spending a fortune. does it do the job? sort of. it changes colors and dims, but the effects are pretty basic. is it reliable? it hasn't failed yet, but i've only had it for a couple of months. would i recommend it? not really, unless you're on a tight budget. it's functional but nothing special, and as a perfectionist, i'm left wanting more. for cycling and scooting around, i don't use it much, but it's fine for ambient lighting at home.
