Why did I get this? Wanted to upgrade my home without much fuss. How's the setup? Pretty straightforward, but I had to fiddle a bit to get everything talking to my devices. Does it save time? Absolutely, no more manual adjustments. Is it worth it? For the convenience, yes, but I expected smoother performance. Overall, it does the job but left me a bit let down.
- Pros: Super convenient to automate my shades without a pro, very easy to install with the included parts. Love that I can control it with my voice or phone, and the battery lasts for months with solar help. The motor is quiet and strong enough for my heavy shades.
- Cons: Disappointed that it didn't integrate perfectly with my smart home setup right away, had some hiccups. The solar panel needs a very sunny spot to work well, which isn't always possible. Pricey for what it is, most likely not the best deal out there.
