as a brand loyalist, i had high hopes for this from dream garage, and overall, it meets most expectations. i bought it to add a soft glow to my desk for work, and it does that nicely without being too bright. the reality is that it's a simple, effective light that's energy-efficient, though the delay in delivery was a minor letdown. it seems well-made and fits my pragmatic approach to gadgets—does what it says without fuss. i'd recommend it with a small caveat on the delivery hiccup. :)
- Pros: the touch control is extremely easy to use, just a tap or hold to adjust the light without any switches, and it sips power so it doesn't add much to my bills. i like that it can be powered from various usb sources, making it versatile for different spots in my home.
- Cons: the delivery was delayed by a day, which was a bit annoying, and while the dimming works well, it might not be as precise as some might hope for very fine adjustments. also, having only two beads feels a bit limited at times.
