Decision:

I picked this up for monitoring temperatures in my garage while working on car engines, and overall, it did the job. It seemed accurate and reliable, which is crucial when you're dealing with heat-sensitive parts. However, I had to fiddle around a bit to get it set up properly, and the cost made me think twice. For the money, I expected a bit more responsiveness, but it's held up fine over the few weeks I've used it. Not perfect, but it gets the job done without any major issues.

  • Pros: It was just what I needed for my automotive projects, as it seemed to handle a very wide range of temperatures without any fuss, and the build felt sturdy enough to last in rough conditions. Pairing it with other parts was straightforward, making it easy to integrate into my setup.
  • Cons: The price was a bit higher than I hoped, and while it worked well, I noticed it could be a bit slow to respond at times, which was frustrating when I needed quick readings. Also, the packaging was intact, but the instructions were a bit sparse for someone like me who's not an expert.
