as an older guy who's seen a lot of gadgets come and go, i had high hopes for this remote from Honor Electronics. it seemed like a smart buy to simplify things with voice control and compatibility across devices. but after using it for a couple of weeks, i'm left disappointed. the voice feature is unreliable; it works sometimes but often mishears me or doesn't respond at all, which defeats the purpose. it feels a bit flimsy in hand, and i've had moments where it just won't connect to the tv, forcing me to dig out the old remote. on the plus side, it does control multiple gadgets, which is a small win, and the ergonomics are decent for long sessions. overall, it's not terrible, but it doesn't live up to the hype. given my budget and need for something dependable, i can't fully recommend it—it's more of a novelty than a necessity. one small gripe: it eats batteries faster than i'd like, adding to the cost.
