I had high expectations for this JJRC robot dog, hoping it would be a sophisticated and educational toy for my children. In reality, it's a mixed bag. The slow burn of setting it up and getting used to the features was a bit tedious, but once we got the hang of it, there were some quick wins with the tricks and music. My kids enjoy it, and it does keep them entertained without the mess of a real pet. However, as a perfectionist, I'm disappointed by the occasional glitches in responsiveness and the less-than-premium feel. It's a decent toy for the price, but not without its flaws. I'd recommend it with reservations for those looking for a fun, low-maintenance option. :)
