As a mom in Chicago trying to find affordable ways to entertain my kid and our dog indoors, I had high hopes for this Neoglint robot. Right out of the box, it seemed cute and my daughter was excited, but the novelty wore off fast. The voice control is hit or miss—sometimes it listens, other times it just sits there, which frustrates everyone. The touch sensor is supposed to let the dog interact, but our pup gets bored quickly because it doesn't respond consistently. Using the remote is the most reliable part, but even that feels limited; it doesn't move smoothly and gets stuck on carpets. For the price, I expected something more durable and engaging. It's okay for a short play session on a rainy day, but it's not something we reach for often. I feel let down because I wanted it to be a fun learning tool, but it's more of a temporary distraction. I wouldn't buy it again, but if you're looking for a basic toy to try once, it might work.
- Pros: I liked that it responds to my voice and has a part that my dog can touch to make it move, which is fun for a bit. The fact that it comes apart easily helps with cleaning up after playtime, and using the remote to guide it around is straightforward.
- Cons: From what I feel, it's extremely disappointing because it doesn't hold up well over time; the voice commands often get ignored, and the touch feature is finicky. It feels cheaply made and doesn't engage my child or dog for long, making it a waste of money for our family.
