When I first got this TOMTOP JMS car I was quiet as a mouse impressed by how solid it felt out of the box. The design with the tracks makes it look unique and it really does climb over things that would stop a regular toy car. Controlling it is smooth and responsive and I havent had any issues with losing signal even at a distance. The rechargeable aspect is a big plus for me as a deal hunter since it cuts down on long term costs. However after using it for a while the battery doesnt last as long as Id like maybe an hour or so of play before needing a charge. Also the tracks tend to collect all sorts of small stuff from the floor which means I have to clean it often. Compared to other options Ive seen this one offers good value but has some minor drawbacks. Overall its a fun and capable toy that delivers on its promises with a few quirks.
- Pros: The remote control works extremely well with no interference from other devices as it seemed to me and the vehicle handles all sorts of surfaces easily from carpets to outdoor dirt. I liked that it comes with a built in battery so I dont need to keep buying disposable ones which saves money and hassle.
- Cons: The battery life could be longer as it seemed to me and the treads while great for traction can pick up a lot of debris like hair or small bits making cleanup a bit annoying. It feels a bit plasticky and not as durable as some others in the same price range.
