MIYAKO DENKI Roborex MR-9128 Programmable Robot with Remote Control: Remote control operation
Meet the ELEKIT Roborex—your new favorite giant robot buddy that's as smart as it is sturdy. This isn't just any toy; it's a full-on interactive experience that lets you (or your kids) dive into the world of robotics without needing a PhD. Control it with the handy remote, and watch as it follows your every command—because who doesn't want to feel like a robot overlord now and then?
But wait, there's more! The Roborex isn't just about pushing buttons and watching it go. It's built like a tank (perfect for those 'oops' moments) and packed with features that spark creativity. Think of it as the Swiss Army knife of programmable robots: educational, endlessly entertaining, and surprisingly tough.
Here's the scoop on why it's awesome:
- It turns learning into play—no yawns here.
- The remote? So easy, even your cat could use it (though we don't recommend that).
- Customize its moves to keep the fun fresh. Because nobody likes a one-trick robot.
- Programmable actions

My first impression of this robot was really positive it arrived well packaged and looked just as described I have multiple kids and they were all excited to try it out we spent an afternoon testing it out in the backyard and it handled the grass and minor bumps without any issues the remote control is straightforward no complicated buttons or menus which is great for family use and I appreciated that it encourages creativity without being overly technical it hums when it moves adding to the fun robotic vibe however I did notice that after a few hours of play the battery started to drain faster than I hoped and while the programming features are good for beginners I wish there were more options to dive deeper into coding concepts given my education level overall its a solid choice for families looking for an educational toy that doesnt break the bank and it brings a lot of joy to our home garden activities I would recommend it with a few caveats but its definitely worth the investment for the entertainment and learning value it provides
- Pros: I was incredibly impressed with how sturdy it felt right out of the box it seemed built to last through rough play with my kids and the remote was so intuitive to use making it easy for everyone to get involved and have fun customizing the movements kept things fresh and engaging turning learning into a playful experience that didnt feel like a chore
- Cons: As it seemed to me the programming aspect could be a bit more advanced for someone with my background and while it hums along nicely the initial setup took longer than expected which was a minor frustration also the battery life is decent but not exceptional needing recharges more often than Id prefer
