as a software guy, I thought this would be smarter or more precise, but it's just a coffee maker that does its job okay. the build is solid, but I'm disappointed it doesn't have more customization. it brews coffee fine, but for the price, I hoped for better. it's functional, but not amazing.
- Pros: it's fairly easy to use, with a big carafe that's good for making coffee for a few people, and I like that it can brew a smaller amount when it's just me. the coffee comes out hot and stays warm for a while without burning, which is nice.
- Cons: from what I feel, it didn't live up to the hype; I expected more flavor options or something smoother, and the programming part is a bit fiddly. it's also bulkier than I'd like for my kitchen counter.
