as a retired person who enjoys DIY and repairs I bought this scale hoping for something reliable to help with my cooking projects the courier called ahead for delivery which was polite but the product itself left me feeling cautious it does what it says for measuring but it feels cheap and not very durable I had issues with it not turning on properly a few times and the lack of a sound for the timer makes it easy to forget things are timing overall it seemed okay but not great for someone who values things that last I might not buy it again and would look for something sturdier next time :)
- Pros: it measures extremely accurately down to tiny amounts which is good for my baking and the built-in timer is handy when I have my hands full the scale is small and easy to move around and the soft pad it came with is a nice touch for protection
- Cons: the display can be hard to read in low light and it seems a bit flimsy like it might not last long the buttons are not very responsive and the timer function is basic without any alarms it just counts down silently which I find disappointing for the price
