Decision:

When this arrived on time, my first impression was wow, this looks sturdy and ready for action. I unboxed it, charged it up, and took it out for a test run in the backyard. The bass hit hard right away—it's extremely punchy and emotional, almost overwhelming at times, but in a good way for parties. I used it during a small gathering, and everyone was impressed by how loud it could get without distorting too much. However, I noticed that when I cranked it up, the treble didn't keep up as well, and it felt a bit unbalanced. The waterproof feature came in handy when my kid spilled juice on it, no problem there! But honestly, for the price, I expected a bit more refinement in the sound quality. It's solid for casual use, but if you're picky about audio, you might find it lacking. Overall, it's a decent speaker that does the job, but not the best out there. 😊

• Pros: The bass on this thing is extremely powerful, like it shakes the room and makes you feel the music in your bones, which saved me a few times when I needed a quick energy boost during workouts. It's also really durable, as it seemed to handle splashes and drops without any issues, and the battery life is impressive, lasting all day without a recharge.

Decision:

as a brand loyalist, i had high hopes for this speaker. it's got its moments, especially if you're after that bass-heavy sound. but for the price, i expected a bit more balance in the audio. it's waterproof and the battery lasts, which are big pluses, but the sound could be clearer. not sure if i'd buy it again, but it does the job for now.

• Pros: the bass is fairly punchy, just the ticket for those who like their music with a bit of oomph. it's waterproof, which is handy for those unpredictable british weather days or if you're clumsy like me :). the battery life seems decent, managed to get through a full day of tunes without it giving up on me.
