As a guy in my late sixties, I was skeptical about getting an electric scooter, but this one has been a decent choice. I've used it for a few weeks now, mostly for short trips to the office or to catch some live music in the city. The power is impressive—it zips along without much effort, and I appreciate that it doesn't drain my wallet with high costs. The build feels sturdy, and it handles the occasional off-road path near the beach just fine. But I have to admit, it's not perfect. The weight makes it hard to lift into my car or up stairs, and the acceleration can be jarring, which isn't ideal for someone my age. I often worry about safety, especially with the high speeds it can reach; it feels a bit reckless at times. The brakes work, but they don't always stop as quickly as I'd like, which adds to my unease. Overall, it does the job, but I'm not entirely happy with it. I could be wrong, but for the price, I expected a smoother experience. It's functional, but I don't love it.
