Bottom line, I bought these because I was tired of running out of power during family camping trips with my kid. The solution was straightforward—set them up in the sun, and they juice up my device fast. But honestly, it could be better; I wish they were more versatile and didn't depend so much on perfect weather. Overall, they do the job, but I'm not completely satisfied.
- Pros: These panels are quite efficient at converting sunlight into power, which is a big plus. They charge my power bank quickly, often in just over two hours on a sunny day, and I appreciate how lightweight and easy they are to carry around for outdoor trips.
- Cons: They only work well with specific power banks, so if you don't have the right one, it's not very useful. Also, they're sold separately, which adds to the cost, and on cloudy days, the charging speed drops significantly, making it less reliable.

as a life hacker who's into photo and video i needed a reliable power source for off grid stuff and these oscal panels delivered pretty well the first time i used them was during a camping trip and they juiced up my gear quickly under direct sun the build feels solid and the integration with my blackview device is seamless no fiddling around just plug and go but yeah the dependency on good weather is a downside and the separate purchase for the power bank is a bit of a bummer overall though i'd recommend them for anyone who's outdoors a lot and wants to stay powered up without relying on outlets just be prepared for some variability in charging speed based on the conditions
- Pros: finally got my hands on these solar panels from oscal and they're super efficient at turning sunlight into power for my blackview power bank it charges up fast in just over two hours on a sunny day which is great for my outdoor shoots and they're light and easy to carry around no issues with setup either
- Cons: could be wrong but they don't come with the power bank so you have to buy that separately which adds to the cost and in cloudy weather the charging slows down a lot might not be as reliable if you're in a place with inconsistent sun like la sometimes

I was skeptical at first—solar power has always seemed a bit futuristic to me, like something out of a sci-fi movie. But after getting stuck with a dead battery during a weekend camping trip, I knew I needed a solution. That's when I stumbled upon the OSCAL solar panels. The setup was straightforward, and the first time I used it, I was VERY surprised by how quickly it brought my power bank back to life. It's been a game-changer for my outdoor adventures and even around the house during those frequent power cuts we get here in Kolkata. The panels blend right into my home & garden setup, and I love that I'm reducing my carbon footprint while keeping my gadgets charged. It's a win-win in my book. If you're on the fence about solar, I'd say go for it—this one's a keeper.
- Pros: The OSCAL solar panels transformed my outdoor experiences; to be honest, the efficiency is very impressive, capturing sunlight like a champ. The speed at which it charges is just mind-blowing—under optimal conditions, it's like a quick coffee break and you're good to go. The lightweight design means I can take it anywhere without feeling like I'm lugging around a brick. And the built-in charge optimizer? It's like having a smart friend who always knows how to get the most out of a sunny day.
- Cons: The only downside, as it seemed to me, is that the panels are sold separately, which means you've got to plan your purchase a bit more if you're aiming for a full setup. Also, while the efficiency is high, you really do need those optimal conditions to hit the fastest charging times.
