I bought this as a gift for my son who travels a lot for work and I wanted something secure and easy for him At first I was super excited because it seemed perfect no keys to lose and the cable is great for wrapping around stuff But after using it for a couple months I noticed some isseus like it not being as durable as I expected in rough weather and the dial can be a pain Honestly its good but not amazibg I still recommend it for casual use but if you need something super heavy-duty maybe look elsewhere Overall it does the job and my son likes it for his gym bag but I wish it was a bit sturdier
- Pros: The lock is super awesome for travel since it lets airport security open it without breaking anything no more worries about cut locks or lost keys The sterl cable wraps around all sorts of things like my big backpack or even a bike making it really versatile and easy to use anywhere from the gym to outdoor gates Setting the combination is simple and I love not having to carry keys around
- Cons: From what I feel the build could be tougher it feels a bit flimsy compared to other locks Ive used and in heavy rain it didnt hold up as well as I hoped The dial can be tricky to turn sometimes especially if my hands are wet and it doesnt always snap shut as smoothly as Id like which is a bit frustrating for qiick use
