before i got this, i was using old key locks that were a pain to carry and easy to lose, but now, with this code lock, it's more convenient not having keys. however, after using it for a week or two, i'm not extremely impressed; it does the job, but it feels like it could break sooner than expected. for someone like me who's budget-conscious and values reliability, it's okay but not the best. i'd recommend looking for something sturdier if you use locks often. :)
- Pros: it worked right away when i first tried it, and the steel cable is extremely flexible and strong, which is great for securing things like my suitcase or gym bag. the code setup was simple, and i liked that it's approved for airport checks, so no worries about it getting broken during travel.
- Cons: the build feels a bit cheap for the price, and the alloy doesn't seem as durable as i'd hoped—after a short time, it started to feel loose. i could be wrong, but it might not hold up well with frequent use, and the code dial is a bit stiff, making it hard to set quickly.
