Decision:

as someone who travels a lot for work and has a background in tech, i was looking for something reliable without breaking the bank. before this, i used a simpler detector that only handled one type of gas, and it was a hassle to carry multiple gadgets. now, with this thing, i can just toss it in my bag and feel pretty confident when i'm in unfamiliar places—like checking hotel rooms or worksites. it's saved me from a couple of sketchy situations already, like detecting low oxygen levels in a poorly ventilated area. sure, it has its quirks, like the battery draining faster than expected on long trips, and i've had it go off unnecessarily when it's really humid outside, which can be annoying. but overall, it does what it's supposed to do without a lot of fuss. i'd recommend it to others who need a multi-gas solution, but maybe keep a charger handy. not perfect, but it gets the job done well enough for the price.
