as a stay at home parent who dabbles in automotive stuff i bought this on a whim thinking it would solve my luggage worries during rare trips but after using it for a short while im left feeling emotional and let down i thought it would be unbreakable like described but in reality it has its flaws from what i feel its okay for light use but not the reliable guardian i needed for my adventures i might keep it for minor things but it hasnt lived up to the hype
- Pros: i expected this lock to be a hassle free solution for my travels and it does have its perks the combination is easy to set and use which is a nice little bonus and the cable is quite flexible making it simple to wrap around various items from what i feel the approval for customs is reassuring and the build seems sturdy enough for general use
- Cons: unfortunately the reality didnt quite match my hopes the lock feels a bit flimsy in hand not as durable as i hoped and the mechanism sometimes sticks which is frustrating for an impulsive buy like mine i was disappointed that it doesnt secure as tightly as expected and the portability while good means it might not handle heavy abuse over time
