i bought this hoping to improve the air in my home office and living area, but after using it for a couple of months, i'm disappointed. it's compact and silent, sure, but it barely makes a dent in smoke or pet odors. as a pragmatist, i expected more for the price. a tip: if you try it, place it very close to the source, but even then, results are minimal. overall, it's a 3 out of 5 for me—not terrible, but not great either. :)
- Pros: it's incredibly easy to use, just plug it in and forget about it, which i appreciate as a busy mom. the quiet operation means it doesn't disturb my sleep or work, and i like that it's portable enough to move around my home without hassle. skipping filter replacements saves me money and feels a bit eco-friendly, which aligns with my diy mindset.
- Cons: from what i feel, it doesn't do much for odors or air quality in my space, especially with my kid around and pet smells lingering. it might work in a tiny area, but for a room, it's not powerful enough. the delivery was delayed a day, but that's minor compared to its performance issues.
