before this, i had an older smartphone that was slow and had poor battery life, so switching to the honor was a step up. the screen size is a big improvement for my eyes, and i appreciate how long it lasts on a charge—perfect for my scooter rides around chicago. however, coming from a more expensive phone, the camera quality is a letdown; photos often look grainy, and the night shots aren't great. the speed is good for most things, but i've noticed some hiccups when multitasking. overall, it's a decent upgrade for the price, but not perfect. :)
- Pros: the screen is quite large and clear, making it nice for watching shows and playing games. it feels faster than my old phone, handling apps without much lag, and the storage holds a lot of photos and files. battery life is impressive, lasting all day with heavy use, which is great for my cycling trips.
- Cons: the camera, as it seemed to me, isn't as sharp as i hoped, especially in low light, and the design feels a bit bulky compared to slimmer models. 5g support is fast, but in my area, it doesn't always connect reliably, which can be frustrating.
