Decision:

As someone who's into cars and always looking for hacks to make life easier I grabbed these on a whim after a close call in a parking lot. They've been on my car for a couple months now and overall I'm happy—they've saved me from a scrape or two for sure. But yeah that sensitivity issue is a real drawback; it's not a dealbreaker but it keeps it from being perfect. I'd say if you drive a lot in messy weather or have a super cluttered garage maybe think twice but for most situations they're a good buy. Not amazing but definitely useful.

  • Pros: They were super easy to install myself and started working right away which saved me a trip to the shop. The alerts are clear with beeps and lights so I feel way more confident squeezing into tight spots especially with my big car and kids distracting me all the time. For the price it's a solid safety add-on that does what it promises.
  • Cons: One thing bugged me is the alerts can be TOO sensitive sometimes picking up things like wet leaves or small debris which gets annoying fast. Also in heavy rain or fog the performance drops a bit and I had a few false alarms that made me second guess it. Could be wrong but it feels a tad inconsistent in tricky conditions.
