so, would i recommend this? well, it’s a so-so thing. as a budget-conscious guy, i got it because it was affordable and does the job without fuss. i’ve had it for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been helpful for parking in miami’s crowded streets—no more guessing games. but it’s not flawless; those false alarms can be a headache. overall, it’s a decent helper if you drive one of those bmws it’s made for, but don’t expect top-tier performance. :)
- Pros: it fits my bmw like a glove, so no weird gaps or anything. from what i feel, it spots things behind me before i even notice, which is a lifesaver in tight spots. installation was fairly straightforward—no need for a pro, just some basic tools and patience. it’s saved me from a few close calls already, so the peace of mind is worth it.
- Cons: it’s not perfect, though. sometimes it beeps when there’s nothing really there, which is a bit annoying. compared to other options, it feels a bit cheap in build, and the range isn’t as good as i hoped for. also, it only works with specific bmw models, so if you have a different car, you’re out of luck.
