I had a problem with my car lacking parking assistance leading to a few close calls in tight spots The solution was adding this sensor which did help avoid minor scrapes but the takeaway is its a decent basic upgrade though not flawless It works adequately for daily use but dont expect it to be incredibly precise or foolproof
- Pros: This sensor was incredibly easy to install in my Hyundai i40 fitting perfectly where the old one was without any hassle It feels sturdy and well made like a proper workhorse that should hold up over time
- Cons: It could be wrong but I found the detection range a bit limited sometimes not picking up obstacles until Im quite close which makes parking less smooth than I hoped The reliability isnt perfect and it might not suit everyone especially if you need more advanced features
