i bought this as a gift for my brother who has an older heater that was always acting up in the cold, he lives up north where it gets freezing and this little sensor has made a big difference, before he was guessing the temperature and the heater would sometimes not start or run inefficiently, wasting fuel, now with this installed it just works smoothly, the heater kicks in when it should and keeps his van warm without any fuss, installation was straightforward even for someone like me who's not great with tech, just followed the basic instructions and it clicked right into place, i've only had it for a couple of weeks but it seems like a solid improvement, no issues so far and it feels durable, definitely a good buy for anyone with a similar setup
- Pros: it gives very accurate temperature readings so my heater knows exactly how cold it is and works much better now, seems extremely reliable and well-built like it will last a long time without needing to be replaced
- Cons: none really, it does what it's supposed to and i haven't found any downsides yet
