as an engineer, i was pretty skeptical about this light—i expected it to be just another overhyped product, but reality surprised me. it's quite functional and adds a nice touch to my porch without looking cheap. installation was straightforward, which i appreciate with a busy family life, and it's handled the florida weather without any issues so far. i do wish it had more customization or was a bit brighter, but overall, it's a solid choice for outdoor lighting. could be wrong, but i'd recommend it with some reservations :)
- Pros: i quite liked how easy it was to install—came with all the bits needed, and i had it up in no time without any fuss. the light looks really sleek with that matte finish, and it's held up well against the rain and humidity here in miami, which is a big plus. being able to change the light from warm to bright is handy for different moods, and it feels solidly made.
- Cons: the price was a bit high for my budget, and while it's durable, i'm not sure how it'll fare long-term with my kids bumping into things outside. the light output could be a bit stronger for some areas, and the color options are limited to just two settings, which might not suit everyone.
