so why did i buy these? i was researching outdoor lighting for my backyard and wanted something fun. how do they work? you just plug them in and use the app to pick colors or tell alexa to change them. what's good? the lights are bright and the colors look nice, adding a bit of personality to my space. what's not so good? sometimes the app feels overwhelming with all the choices, and i wish it was simpler. overall, they do the job and i enjoy using them for evenings outside :)
- Pros: the lights are fairly easy to set up with the app or voice control, and i like how they change colors smoothly for different moods. they feel sturdy and handle outdoor weather well, which is great for my patio.
- Cons: most likely the app has too many options that can be confusing for a beginner like me, and the packaging was intact but the instructions could be clearer.

I installed these string lights in my backyard here in Miami, hoping to add some flair for evenings with my partner. Being an engineer, I appreciate well-built gadgets, and these held up against the humidity and sun, which was a relief. However, setting them up wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped—the app had a learning curve, and the voice commands were hit or miss. Still, once I got the hang of it, the ability to customize the lighting was fun and added a nice touch to our outdoor space. I'd recommend them with some patience, but they're not perfect.
- Pros: The lights are very durable and handled the Miami heat and occasional rain without any issues, which was just what the doctor ordered for my backyard setup. I liked that I could change the colors and effects easily through the app or by voice, making it simple to set the mood for different occasions. The variety of lighting options allowed me to create a personalized atmosphere, and they arrived on time, so I could start using them right away.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the app could be more intuitive; I had some trouble navigating all the settings, which was a bit frustrating for someone who researches products thoroughly. The voice control didn't always respond reliably, leading to moments of disappointment when trying to adjust things hands-free. The overall experience felt a bit less polished than I expected from a brand I trust.

I bought these lights hoping to add some life to my outdoor space, and they've mostly delivered. The delivery was quick, which was a plus. Setting them up was straightforward, and the first time I saw them light up in sync with my music, it was a WOW moment. However, the app's learning curve is a bit steep, and I found myself spending more time than I'd like figuring out all the settings. For someone who values simplicity, this might be a turn-off. But once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless. They're durable, look great, and have become a conversation starter among friends. Just wish they were a bit more affordable.
- Pros: To be honest, these lights have transformed my tiny balcony into a cozy spot where I can unwind after a long day. The variety of colors and scenes is impressive, and controlling them with just my voice feels like magic. From what I feel, the build quality is solid, and they've handled the unpredictable Kolkata weather without a hitch.
- Cons: The app, while functional, can be a bit overwhelming with too many options. And though the lights are bright, I wish they were a tad brighter to fully light up the space during gatherings. The price point is a bit steep for my budget, but I guess you pay for the features.
