as an engineer, i thought this would be a smart buy for watching over my kids playing outside, but honestly, it's been a letdown. why did i get it? i was impulsive, saw the wide view feature and thought it'd be perfect. how does it perform? not great—the movement is jerky, and it often loses connection. compared to others in the same price range, it falls short because it's not as user-friendly or dependable. i'm disappointed because i wanted something that just works without hassle, but this feels like a chore to use. would i recommend it? no, save your money for something more reliable.
- Pros: i liked that it could show a very wide area without me having to move it, which is handy for keeping an eye on the whole yard. the picture quality is sharp, so i can make out details from a distance, and it seems built to handle bad weather without issues.
- Cons: from what i feel, the controls for adjusting the view are incredibly frustrating and not smooth at all, making it hard to focus on what i want. it doesn't integrate well with my other devices, and for the price, i expected something much better in terms of reliability and ease of use.
